Our Story
May 10, 2017, Matt and I opened the doors to our store with a lot of excitement, a little nervousness, and no idea just how special this journey would become.
What began as a small business quickly became so much more.
Over the years, we’ve had the joy of discovering things we love and sharing them with you—beautiful products, unexpected treasures, gifts that make someone smile, and those “I have to have this!” finds that you just can’t walk past. As much as we love the things inside our store, the people are what have made LRB what it is today.
We’ve watched customers become friends, friends become family, and little moments at the register turn into conversations we remember long after you’ve left the store. We’ve celebrated milestones with you, laughed with you, listened when you needed to talk, and watched so many of you bring your own families through our doors.
That’s the part of owning this store that we never could have imagined when we opened in 2017.
LRB is a business, but it’s also a place where we hope you feel comfortable walking in, welcomed when you arrive, and cared for when you leave. We’re incredibly proud to be part of this community, and we never take for granted the trust you place in us—not just with your shopping, but with your celebrations, your gifts, your stories, and your time.
Giving back has always been important to us because we believe that when a community supports a small business, that small business should support its community right back. We’re grateful for every opportunity to lend a hand, contribute, and be part of something bigger than ourselves.
